DIP switch menu

Easy hard mode prizes

Use the following trick when obtaining the hard mode prizes. Set the difficulty to easy and proceed to the final stage save point (before fighting Balzac’s first form). Quit and save the game. Set the difficulty back to hard and continue the game. Even though you completed most of the game under the easy difficulty setting, you will still get the prizes for hard mode. You still have to complete the final stage in hard mode, but some tough sections (such as the battle with Zod) are a lot easier.

Invincibility

Press pause during the game, then press on the controller x, x, y, x, y, y, x, x. Then return to the game and then you will be undefeatable.

Front and rear attack

Fire the hand cannon while your sword is drawn. As you are firing, keep pressing X (main sword attack). After the cannon blast fires and knocks Guts back, he will spin and slash his sword behind him, defeating enemies to the rear.

Completing the game under the easy and medium difficulty quickly:

To get a mini game complete the game with any character, after that go to an area where the secrets are unlocked.

If you complete the game with Dixen two times you will get a second mini game.

3rd mini Game

Complete the game using any characters besides these three (Bolin&Polin, WiseDuck should be two of the three) or complete the game using all the characters. Go back to the techno dome and the 3rd minigame should be available.

Extra options

Beat the game in hero challenge mode with any character and in the end you will receive a certain amount of G You now have to go to Tatsumi’s Techno Dome and move to the right You’ll see several boxes in yellow.
